Pallet Load Optimizer

Work out how your corrugated cases stack on a pallet — or which pallet footprint fits them with the least wasted deck.

Before You Start

  • Enter the outside dimensions of your corrugated shipping case — the box that actually goes on the pallet, not the inner retail carton. Everything below depends on getting this right.
  • If your shipping case has dimensions printed on it, those are most likely internal dimensions. Please make sure the figures you enter are external ones.
  • Height is always vertical. The case may turn 90° within a layer, but it is never tipped onto another face — so the height you enter is what sets how many layers fit.
  • Measure maximum stack height above the pallet deck, not off the floor.

What This Tool Assumes

  • Corrugated shipping cases only. Paperboard folding cartons are not palletized directly — they cannot carry a load — so this tool is not built for them.
  • No box collapse. This is pure geometry. It does not check whether the case at the bottom of the stack can carry the ones above it.
  • A perfectly rigid pallet deck. Real decks deflect under load, and that deflection changes how a stack behaves.
  • Zero overhang. Every case is kept inside the deck footprint. Product hanging past the deck edge bears on the least supported part of the boards and increases risk of damage.
